BIO

Comment please, I like the support and advice. Its helps my writing. Inspired by poets such as Hollie McNish, I do not write conventional poetry. It's foundation is a mix between poetry and rap, but also just my passion for writing. This, I feel, creates a variety of poems about love and hate, but also about politics and race. I am just a young man who likes to express himself with words, and maybe I can create a lasting impression on people as a bi-product. I hope you enjoy the poetry you write but more importantly, I hope that instills an emotion in you, wether you agree or disagree.

Do you ever get those days?

Ahhhhhhh. Peaceful days. Gotta love em.

Do you ever get those days
When you just sit,
And don’t need to pray, or pick at fraying jeans
Dig into a pit of grey
to find something happy amongst a pile of shit
Where you only have to look
and breath
and thats enough, some days, for me
Because when I get these days, though little and far between
I gleam, and seem for a second to glow
Do you ever get those days
When you just sit, or laze around
Making no sound, but gentle sighs,
as the earth ‘rock a byes’ you, now a baby.
Where you just stare up into the sky
And don’t need to cry, or scream or even talk
But just let the mind wing its way higher, hawk-like
Stalking big ideas on the site of your now calm mind.
Do you ever get those days
Where you just sit
Unwind into yourself, a big ball of wool
unknotting itself, slowly, gradually
Folding like yoga in on itself.
Where you just feel
At one without your busy mind
and understand that what you’ve taken ages to find
was right under your now relaxed behind.
