BIO

Comment please, I like the support and advice. Its helps my writing. Inspired by poets such as Hollie McNish, I do not write conventional poetry. It's foundation is a mix between poetry and rap, but also just my passion for writing. This, I feel, creates a variety of poems about love and hate, but also about politics and race. I am just a young man who likes to express himself with words, and maybe I can create a lasting impression on people as a bi-product. I hope you enjoy the poetry you write but more importantly, I hope that instills an emotion in you, wether you agree or disagree.

Don't Say You Love Me

Love used to be a strong word, rarely used, and when used eventually really meant something. Unfortunately its lost this deep meaning, by people saying they love people all the time.

Don’t say I love you
Or quote a love song, or quote a sonnet
And say that I belong in nobody’s heart but yours
And don’t pour out words, if they, to you, are just words
Because somewhere along the line, the meaning is lost
And don’t say that you can’t survive without me,
For you have survived for the last year, so when you weep tears,
don’t blame it on our parting, or this void thats been created, by lack of words
A little journey we started was perhaps too hard to continue so we gave up
and walked away, but hey, at least we could admit, when we didn’t wanna play
That game that we got bored of.
Its a shame that we couldn’t fulfill the words of a love song
And be able to quote the greatest poets of them all
By finding our own little loves stories,
living with cupid and his faires
Living In a night sky, where the moon is your face and your soul can only be traced in the purest of stars and sighs,
Its not true, so why say it
Why play tricks for your own enlightenment
Why build your soul up so much on false hopes that it starts to get frightened
That it will never rest on a nice ideal
Nice. You understand the feel of what I am saying
Lets pray, I suppose, that we do find love
from up above, or down below, and that it will grow
Into something great
But for the mean time, don’t settle with something false and fake
If you love me i appreciate the gesture
If you don’t i’ll just feel like a clown or a jester
Or the hunch back and his gargoyles
Or grandma in the wolf’s stomach
Mixing with the vomit
Love is a word used far to often
And far to often is it used wrong
The word has been made weak, not strong
like its brothers hate, lust, passion and greed
But been set free and turned to mush, by tramples from
All people, small and butch.
So give up, and give in, to some true feeling.
You don’t know what love is yet.
