I’ll take this opportunity to say,

That from here on in,

My word will count for,

Everything.

I will never be deceitful,

Or lie to you again.

I’ll never cover things I did, 

Or the things that caused you pain.

I will never try to hurt you,

Or argue with your tongue, 

For the sake of getting angry at you,

Or to have a little ‘fun’. 

These words don’t show how much

I want to say i’m sorry.

But I hope you’ll read between the lines,

Feeling true words, tears and sorrow.

I’ve gotten angry in the past,

But I know you’ve been sorry too.

An apologetic mess you were,

When I told you off but soon

We were back on track and smiling,

And these words will heal those wounds,

I don’t know any other way to smooth it out, 

And make some room,

For the better heart and smiles,

For laughs and cheery self.

Lets go back to hugs 

And friends ourselves. 

The arguments are in the past,

So let them float away,

I forgive you, you forgive me,

Lets stop this headache and say 

‘Its all in the rubbish now, 

throw the bloody bin away, 

Recycle angry notes and conversations,

and delete the emails.’

Lets wave goodbye to the bad times 

That stick like a putty in our hands 

preventing us from holding hands

And lands us in a pile of shit.

So sorry once again,

This will be the last time said, 

Because I refuse to make you hurt again

By something that i’ve done or said.
