BIO

Comment please, I like the support and advice. Its helps my writing. Inspired by poets such as Hollie McNish, I do not write conventional poetry. It's foundation is a mix between poetry and rap, but also just my passion for writing. This, I feel, creates a variety of poems about love and hate, but also about politics and race. I am just a young man who likes to express himself with words, and maybe I can create a lasting impression on people as a bi-product. I hope you enjoy the poetry you write but more importantly, I hope that instills an emotion in you, wether you agree or disagree.

The Heart Breaker's March

I woke this morning to the sound of drums.
Dum de dum dum.
Hollowed out bones as drum sticks go.
Dum de dum dum.
And the men they marched with the heads held high.
Dum de dum dum.
As they dragged their hearts behind.
I went outside to join the march.
Dum de dum dum.
Of the lonely hearts and battered lovers.
Dum de dum dum.
And I walked with them for miles and miles.
Dum de dum dum.
Over broken glass and thorns cast by them.
The tears that filled the streets ran red.
Dum de dum dum.
While the beating, bruised boxes, lay limp at the feet.
Dum de dum dum.
And as more and more people joined in this march.
Dum de dum dum.
They cried out for justice, with a heartbreakers song.
People would brush off the black eyes and dirt.
Dum de dum dum.
Restoring torn clothes and all of the hurt.
Dum de dum dum.
The lies and the cheating lay out in the open.
Dum de dum dum.
For the people to see, all out in the open.
And so the drums beat for hours and hours.
Dum de dum dum.
And the cries turned to hugs and the pain back to hopes.
Dum de dum dum.
And dreams began rising from mouths and from bodies.
Dum de dum dum.
As the people, they marched, through the towns and the cities.
We’ll stand together, they all shouted out.
Dum de dum dum.
For all ripped up hearts and pain thats about.
Dum de dum dum.
And we’ll fight on the streets for a love that is true.
Dum de dum dum.
For people deserve more than what is given by people like you.
